The Blue Tent Somatic Yoga Teacher Training Program prepares women to become highly skilled, trauma-informed facilitators capable of guiding others through embodied healing practices with professionalism, compassion, and integrity.

Our comprehensive curriculum blends modern neuroscience, trauma-informed care, somatic psychology, mindfulness, anatomy, physiology, breathwork, meditation, restorative yoga, and holistic wellness into a transformational educational experience that prepares graduates to teach safely within diverse populations and community settings.

This new Somatic Yoga Teacher Training replaces our previous training and introduces updated modules, expanded practices, and a renewed curriculum designed for deeper transformation.

Whether you are a yoga teacher, healer, therapist, or someone called to this work, this program will guide you into a deeper understanding of somatic awareness, nervous system regulation, and embodied healing.

ABOUT THE FACILITATOR

Dr. La’Tia Phillips-Bey is a healer, educator, social worker, somatic yoga professional, and wellness leader devoted to helping individuals rediscover balance, peace, and embodied healing.

With decades of experience supporting individuals, families, and communities, Dr. Phillips-Bey, integrates trauma-informed care, somatic yoga, mindfulness, meditation, and holistic wellness approaches her work. Her practice is rooted in compassion, cultural humility, and the understanding that true healing involves the mind, body, and spirit working together.

As an experienced facilitator, speaker, and educator, she provides wellness experiences that empower people to regulate stress, reconnect with their bodies, and cultivate sustainable pathways toward healing and vitality.

Her work extends beyond the mat and into communities, organizations, and educational spaces where healing, restoration, and personal transformation are deeply needed.
